Alexandra Palace Theatre was a wonder of Victorian engineering allowing the actors to fly through the air or disappear from the stage! It was built in 1875 and was given a run for its money when the west end became the popular theatre choice for the public. Unfortunately, it couldn’t compete and has been disused as a theatre for over 80 years.
