Nearly on Safari!

We visited Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire. The park was opened in 1970 and is one of the UK's oldest wild animal parks with over 1,000 wild animals.

The park is set in 300 acres of beautiful parkland and the road safari is split into various sections. Visitors are able to drive around all five areas. Driving around the park allows you to get very close to the animals. The animals are not caged and do roam freely. There are a team of rangers who patrol all parts of the park to ensure the safety of visitors and the animals

Woburn has been deeply involved with species conservation for over a hundred years. At the end of the road safari you can explore the 40-acre leisure area featuring the smaller animals, petting zone, play areas, restaurants, souvenirs, rides and a Go Ape! course.
