This short video diary is about the time we went ‘posh’ car-booting in Pimlico, London. Armed with a suitcase full of old ‘tat’ we headed to St. Georges Square (a short walk from Pimlico underground station). Car-boot sales are famous across the UK and are an adapted version of a village hall jumble sale where you sell your old junk out of the back of your car. As we didn’t have a car to hand we took a small portable table and set up our stall in the sunniest part of the car park. As Pimlico is in a wealthy part of London our aim was to attract local antique dealers to our stand and to sell as much as possible for a profit. Watch the video to see how we did ….
