Back in the 1990’s I was approached by a TV production company (Tiger Aspect) to ‘play’ a real life version of Tom from the hit TV sitcom ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’. The programme was filmed over a course of weeks and the production team paired me up with actress Siobhan McConnon to play the real Linda character.
During the filming we were put into a variety of scenarios to play up to including speed dating at the Kudos bar (no longer in existence). Filming this show was great fun and has lead onto some brilliant opportunities including appearing on Richard and Judy’s New Position and being interviewed on the show.
