In this mini whistlestop tour, we take you to Thetford's iconic locations used in the BBC sitcom Dad's Army. Dad's Army celebrated its 50th anniversary on the 31st July 2018 during which time 80 episode were produced as it became a British comedy classic. We visit the clocktower which the German airman got his parachute caught on in 'Time on My Hands', visit Percy Street where Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson and Private Walker knocked on the door of each house to ask the lady of the home if they could inspect her knickers in the programme ''Man Hunt'.
