Situated 11km from Siauliai, Northern Lithuania is 'The Hill of Crosses'. A strange place that nobody knows the exact origin of how it all began. The hill is steeped in history and has seen many wars and conflicts. People place crosses on this hill for mainly religious reasons however some crosses have been erected as a protest against the ruling governments over the years. The hill has an eerie feel to it and many stories regarding ghosts, visions, conflicts surround the hill and its history.
